Past Recipients Testimonials
“The CSCMP Edge Conference offers an unparalleled opportunity to both network with professionals from all over the country (as well as globe) and learn about the unique challenges and opportunities in the supply chain field in an extremely fun and low-pressure environment. You will go in knowing few people and with minimal exposure to supply chain, as it applies to real business, and you will leave with new mentors, lifelong friends and colleagues, and a much deeper understanding of real business supply chains. If you are lucky, you may even network with the right people and leave with a career opportunity. I can personally attest to this actually happening, and know I am not the only one. You would be a fool not to apply for this word class opportunity!” – Connor Rockrohr, MBA student at the University of Miami (2016 recipient; Class of 2017 majoring in OSCM)

“In the 2019 EDGE conference, it is really eye-opening to me in terms of the scale of the supply chain industry and various people from all over the world. It also assured me I have chosen a right career because I am a people person, curious about new things/technologies and problem-solver. As a people person, I have met many different outstanding individuals through networking section that I want to keep in touch with. As a curious person, I appreciate there are multiple different sections broken down into different topics that I can go to. Also, many sections focused on the impact/application of technologies in the supply chain industry such as blockchain and automation. Last but not least, as a problem-solver, I have learned the great wisdom from the industry leader that how they react to the problem such as, tariffs, disasters, and trucker shortages. Moreover, the leader’s leadership is critical to solve problem. I enjoy listening their stories. All in all, I want to thank to CSCMP KC Round table for giving me this great opportunity to have this experience in my life. If I have chance, I will definitely want to attend next year. One of the key takeaways I had from this conference was how technology is flipping the supply chain world on its head and to see how companies are responding to this change.
