As the world’s largest underground business complex, Hunt Midwest SubTropolis offers more than 7.3 million square feet of leaseable industrial space in Kansas City. Good Manufacturing Practice and Verified-Accredited Wholesale distributors compliant, the location of SubTropolis’ energy-efficient space is first-stop/last-stop for UPS and FedEx. The facility offers excellent speed-to-market opportunity and is capable of delivering potential tenants a 100,000 sq. ft. build-to-suit warehouse in 120 days.

Automotive Alley, a strategic combination of two business parks, Hunt Midwest Business Center (HMBC) and SubTropolis, is a $50+ million project that has attracted numerous Ford Transit & F-150 upfitters to the Kansas City region. Automotive users, including Dejana Truck & Utility Equipment, currently occupy 130+ acres of HMBC, while SubTropolis automotive users lease 785,000+ sq. ft. of energy-efficient space.

Kansas State University will hold a two-day training for the Lean Six Sigma (LSS) Yellow Belt at the Olathe campus. The two-day, online introductory Yellow Belt course is the foundation program of Lean Six Sigma and its methodologies.

The main goal of the Yellow Belt course is to provide an introduction to Lean Six Sigma and how it can be used by individuals and teams to improve customer satisfaction, reduce errors, increase efficiencies, and work more effectively with teams to solve problems. With this foundation of knowledge and skills, participants can progress to more advanced levels of LSS.
